As someone who just graduated from Year 12 in 2022, I believe I am able to relate to and understand the students just starting or are going through their ATAR journey. Additionally, during ATAR, my maths teacher was not the best at teaching, meaning my friends and I had to teach the concepts to ourselves and to each other, which forced us to develop our critical thinking skills and to fully understand concepts in our own ways rather than regurgitating what was covered in class. I believe this has allowed me to better simplify and teach concepts to those also learning math.Most important things I can do for a student π
I believe the most important thing tutors can do for their students is to understand the unique needs and strengths of each student. This means the teaching approach taken by the tutor should be adapted to match the preferences and learning styles of the student.
