What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I find the idea of sharing my knowledge and helping others to achieve their goal rewarding. I was able to acquire some knowledge through my studies, and I believe that this knowledge should be shared. Knowing that I played a role, no matter how big it was, in the success of a student (no matter how he/she defines it) is truly gratifying. I also think that this kind of experience is enriching, as I also learn from this experience, throught the different exchanges I have with others.My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
As I am still a student (even though its in university), I know what kind of questions about the course people might ask as I probably asked myself the same questions when I was in High School. Also, because of my status of student, I aim for my lessons to be more of a discussion, in which the student and I will interect on the different subjects, rather than just me explaining the notions and the students simply taking notes. I truly want the student to understand the different concepts.Most important things I can do for a student π
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is listening to them to truly understand what their needs and goals are. I also think it is important for a tutor to establish a link with the student, to make the lesson less "formal" and more enjoyable for the student as he/she would learn better if the environment is less stressful.Tutoring students in π¦ π§
