What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy coming up with teaching methods that best suit each individual student as well as the satisfaction of watching my student’s grades gradually improve. I especially enjoy tutoring children so I can aid in building a good relationship between the child and studying from when they are young.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Patience would definitely be my strongest suit, having had work with kids from kindergarten to teens in high school, I’ve developed a high threshold of patience with students that take more time to grasp concepts. Besides that, I am creative in coming up with ways to help students grasp concepts, especially with students that share similar interests with me such as cooking or playing games, I can use terminology that is familiar to them which will aid in their grasping of the concept and recalling that application in future.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

When I was a tutee, I really appreciated my tutor bringing in candy as a gift/form of encouragement for me. In hindsight, it’s not the candy but the thought/gesture of bringing it in for me that warmed my heart. I believe in doing the same for my students and building a solid foundation of trust and rapport which definitely opens them up to learning more.
