What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I love most about tutoring is the one on one, personal interaction you have with the student. I believe that tutoring is much more than just giving an individual student the opportunity to succeed academically. It is also about getting to understand a person and learning to connect with them as a friend and a mentor, helping them to succeed in all aspects of life. I love knowing that my skills and talents are being put to good use when I am able to share my knowledge with others, helping them to understand what someone once helped me understand.

My strengths as a tutor lie in understanding the essence of educational concepts and being able to relay these fundamental concepts to others. Understanding brings about motivation, so once you understand something you always want to learn more. Another key strength of mine is my communication with the students and ability to connect to them, making them feel comfortable to learn in a positive environment. I am patient and understand that each student learns differently, so I am well adaptable to the needs of my students.

Another thing a tutor can do for a student is to develop confidence in their own abilities and help the student understand how they best learn, so that learning becomes efficient and enjoyable.
