What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

When I am guiding a student, be it someone younger than me or a friend in my group study session, I feel like I am making a difference somehow. The students I am teaching a topic will use their knowledge into getting a good grade and increase their overall performance in their studies, which will surely help them reach their goal to a successful career. That is something that gives me joy.

As a tutor, I am confident that I can help students in figuring out their own strengths and weak points in different areas of a subject, then have them follow a well thought out plan to combat the difficulty they face in topics they find hard. More than that, I always aim to implement positive reinforcement techniques to encourage students when they feel demotivated.

The most important thing a tutor can do for their student is understand their study habits and figure out the best ways to enhance their overall performance by improving the way of their study. If the tutor understands where their pupil is making a mistake, only then will the student understand it as well and will be able to work on it.
