What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Tutoring has always been an exhausting but rewarding experience to me. I love connecting with a child and learning about their personality. The more time I get to spend with a young tutee, the better the both of us get at learning from each other. I love figuring out how someone thinks and learns best and using that to help them. The satisfaction I get from my student finally understanding a key concept is probably the best thing about tutoring to me.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe with my background as a substitute teacher and a casual tutor as well as a current medical student, the best thing I can do for someone is explaining something in the right way for them to understand it. As such, I'd say effective communication is definitely one of my strengths. Furthermore, I have a good grasp of many different learning styles, whether visual, didactic or inductive. I think the most important thing I can do for a student is to help them understand their own learning styles and reflect on the areas in which they need more help. Helping students become more independent and reflective learners can enhance their enjoyment of the learning process.
