What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I find it fulfilling to see students grasp concepts, overcome challenges and make progress towards achieving their academic goals with my guidance. I am very passionate about my education and what I learn, and imparting this knowledge while also helping students develop a passion for their subjects is gratifying. Overall, making a positive impact on their academic journey is something I always find most rewarding. In turn, this also keeps me engaged in the learning process.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have retained a lot of the knowledge of content I learned in school and the exams I took, particularly grade 5 onwards. Because of this, I remember my own challenges I encountered while undertaking the subjects which helps me in providing explanations, problem-solving techniques, and guidance on assignments and exams. I am experienced in adapting my communication style to adapt the needs of a student and create an environment in which they are comfortable asking questions.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Having structured, logical and reasonable lesson plans unique to the needs of the student, and outlined learning objectives are essential. Learning style, strengths and weaknesses often vary among students and teaching methods often require reasonable flexibility. Setting a positive example is often a first step in motivating and inspiring students to set goals and develop good study habits. Celebrating students' achievements and providing constructive feedback to help students improve are also important in creating a positive learning environment.
