I have noticed that ever since I started studying with my friends that tutoring concepts felt deeply satisfying and significantly helped myself in creating a better understanding of the material. I also love understanding the way people around me think and learn concepts differently to myself.My Strengths as Tutor ๐ช
My strength as a tutor is in the fact that I understand what it's like to be a student struggling to study hard subjects. This gives me an opportunity to empathise with the tutee and mould our learning styles so I can optimise the way I teach. I am a great communicator and I am very open to the student's feedback or counter-arguments, where we can have an open discussion of the problem.Most important things I can do for a student ๐
The main purpose of a tutor is to expand the tutee's tree of knowledge in a holistic manner. There is no point simply explaining the knowledge behind 1 leaf if it has nothing to hold on to, ie. the trunk and branches. If the leaf has nothing to hold on to then it will fall. So the tutors job is to find the best and most empathetic way from their years of experience to map the concept out to the tutee in a way that best coincides with their learning style.Subjects Tutored ๐
