From my experience, it is very fulfilling to instill a passion for the subject in the students such that they begin to develop their curiosity and ask interesting questions.

Apart from delivering a clear idea of what the student should know for school, a tutor should be able to cater to the learning needs of the student. A tutor should also act as a pillar of support and encourage the student when learning the subject may be difficult. A tutor should offer a safe environment where the student is allowed to make mistakes, thereafter inspiring students to learn from their mistakes.
