What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Mostly, I love to engage with students. However, I also believe tutoring is an avenue for me to explore my own creativity and ability to communicate, and from my past experience of being a tutor, it definitely aids in cultivating a confident and headstrong personality within me.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have always had a keen eye for things. As a tutor who started out during schooling, I have been told to possess a greater affinity to students than the elder teachers. Maybe it was because I was a student myself, and could clearly determine where the doubt was, unlike my own teachers. This, therefore, has enabled me to design a teaching method that is strongly aligned with the student's capacity to understand, which has been highly successful, as reviewed by my past students.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A tutor must be able to secure a positive impression of the subject in the student's mind, regardless of how arduous the subject content might be. A tutor is a third parent and must have immense patience to ensure that the child grasps each and every detail, even if they ask us to repeat what we taught. Besides, as tutors, we must always advocate self-confidence and self-belief, setting ourselves as role models that inspire our students.
