What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I think tutoring offers a good opportunity for an individual to consolidate their own knowledge, as well as the knowledge of the tutoring recipient. Furthermore, I feel as though I can use my own experiences and learning methods in order to garner a passion for learning in others, as well as make education simpler and more approachable. This is extremely important, as the idea of learning can become daunting as you continue to climb up in grade and difficulty level, which can often result in students struggling to apply themselves to learn at a higher level.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am an easily approachable person who has no difficulty making conversation with others, or helping others. Furthermore, I am not a harsh critic and can provide feedback in a gentle manner, which is incredibly important in order to encourage a student towards learning. Everyone makes mistakes, and I feel no shame in admitting my mistakes wherever they may arise - I feel as though doing this provides an incredible learning opportunity for myself and the individual that I am tutoring. I think the single most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to help them develop an intrinsic passion for the content they study, and to assist them in finding methods of learning that make it easier for them to learn. I would rather not spoon-feed answers unless it is absolutely necessary, and would rather a student think critically to solve a problem that they may have, and help them develop an algorithm to do this. I believe each individual student has a different learning-style, so it is important to develop each student's study methods individually for the long term.Subjects Tutored 🎓
