What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

When my parents put me in boarding school towards the end of high school, I now had 20+ sisters who I could so school with. It was then I realised that not only was I able to learn so much from others but I myself had so much to teach. I started tutoring because I understand the importance of learning from other students. Knowledge is solidified when you're able to gain it from different sources. When a student learns something in class and then comes home and is taught the same thing but in a different way, it makes learning and mastering that topic so much easier.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I know how to work with different types of people from different backgrounds. I can approach a topic in multiple different ways for the student's understanding. I can break down complex concepts into simple blocks to aid the student's understanding

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Be patient with them. All students are different but also everyone has the capacity to learn. It is up to the tutor to understand their students (how they think, their learning styles etc) and tailor their approach to meet their needs. Prioritizing the student's understanding as well
