What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The thing I enjoy the most about tutoring is the opportunity to be able to help someone improve. I believe it is a very rewarding process to help an individual improve on a topic they were struggling with before. There is a lot of satisfaction in doing so. I believe this ultimately ties into the idea of helping someone.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my strengths as a tutor are that I am patient and persistent in teaching a topic. I am willing to take the extra time for a student to truly understand the fundamentals behind a topic so they know why they are learning about it, to begin with. I also believe that my patience will help in taking this extra time if necessary to ensure the student does understand the topic. Each of these then compounds to help the student subsequently improve their base knowledge and grades.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important thing a tutor can be to a student is patient and kind. This is because there could be a particular concept the student is struggling with, so the tutor needs to be able to help them learn and improve on that topic. Being patient and kind in explaining it to the student is, therefore, an important part of doing so. Subsequently, this ties to being able to explain a topic articulately and succinctly to the student, so that a deeper level of understanding can be fostered.
