What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy sharing knowledge and watching students slowly grasp concepts which they struggled with or did not understand before. Seeing students succeed and enjoy what they do is a feeling like no other.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Hi!
My name is Suren and currently in my 3rd year studying the Doctor of Medicine at Monash University and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to be an Ez maths tutor!
Some of the most important strengths a tutor should have are to be educated, respectful, honest, committed and be excellent teachers. From over 1000 hours of tutoring experience and satisfied students, I truly believe I can support you or your child's learning needs and help you/them excel at maths!
I strive to make learning fun and engaging and as I was once a student (not long ago), I understand the difficulties of learning and the anxiety of starting tutoring with someone new.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
My goals for any student that I tutor are always the same:
1. To be reliable and committed to teaching
2. To tailor lessons according a student's needs - not everyone learns the same!
3. To make classes fun, enjoyable and even something to look forward where students feel relaxed (but also challenged) and happy they have learnt something that class
Furthermore, I believe understanding mathematic concepts is much more crucial and valuable for long-term success in not only maths but any study, which is why I focus on teaching concepts thoroughly, so that students can apply their knowledge to any question, rather than memorising questions/answers.
