What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Personally, I believe tutoring allows me to have the opportunity to connect with students that will be the future generation. Being able to support teenagers, knowing and closely understanding their situation, provides me with joy. Moreover, there is great joy in seeing a student improving, happy with results and learning more. Tutoring also allows me to grow my skillset and further improve myself as a person. Learning to adapt to different students provides me with skills I am able to apply in everyday life.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My biggest strengths as a tutor is my adaptability and my understanding of the struggles of a student. My adaptability creates an effectively learning environment where students are engaged and understand at a higher level. This adaptability has been a developed skill throughout my previous tutoring jobs. Being a first year university student, I have close understanding to the primary/high school struggle of stress and managing studying. Being able to understand this allows you to cater to the student better and provide suitable solutions and advice.

The most important things a tutor can do for their student are placing themselves in the student's shoes and also adapting to each student's learning style. Understanding the student and placing yourself in their shoes allows you to connect with them and teach in an effective manner. Being able to do this ensures your teaching potential is maximised and the student is able to learn effectively and efficiently. Adapting to each student's learning style ensures that they are able to understand content more easily and efficiently. Catering to a student's learning style allows more engagement.
