What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

It is very rewarding and joyful to see a student grasp a concept that they were previously struggling with, seeing them gain confidence in their abilities and love learning. Tutoring is a very great opportunity to share knowledge and insights with one another, it is very enjoyable to build strong relationships with students and be part of their educational journey.

My strengths as a tutor are that I'm very organised, passionate, enthusiastic, empathetic, and patient. I'm well-organised with my work, life, and ways of doing things. I'm also passionate and enthusiastic to inspire students to develop a love of learning and overcome challenges. I also empathise with students, listening and understanding students' needs, therefore offering students the best way of learning. I also have a lot of patience because I understand that some students may need more patience and I'm very happy to repeat explanations and processes until the student grasps it.

The most important things a tutor can do for a student is to identify students' strengths and weaknesses and work on improving their weak areas while building on their strengths. It is also very important for tutors to create a safe supportive learning environment for the students, encourage them to take risks, and be confident to overcome challenges. It is also very important for a tutor to be able to match students' needs because each student is unique and has different learning styles, paces, and levels of understanding. Tutors could also set achievable goals to help motivate students.
