Tutoring is a career where you control the scope of your responsibilities. Nobody is holding your hand or keeping an eye on you from behind. You are thrust into the student's world and must quickly learn to adjust. Your ability to solve problems, make decisions, and manage your time effectively will improve as a result of this independence. Not to add, tutoring's flexibility allows you to balance your responsibilities in case something else in your life arises.
