What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Genuinely seeing students happy and feeling proud that they’re confident in something that they weren’t expecting to be successful in. There’s nothing more rewarding then seeing a child with a warm smile, or holding an award, or just feeling good in themselves - everyone needs a sense of self.
I’m glad to be apart of the journey that grows and shapes them to have the best building blocks in life.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As someone that’s grown up in a family of 6, I’m incredibly resilient and open-minded to all learning types. I’m currently working within childcare and studying within Youth Services; I’d like to say my biggest strength is empathy and compassion. Being able to tutor and talk to anyone! I have previous experience working with behavioural disorders and those needed emotional support. Not only can I be a tutor, but also a mentor for them.
I enjoy teaching:
GENERAL HELP
PDHPE
MATHS
PSYCHOLOGY
ANCIENT HISTORY
ENGLISH (studies/general/standard/advanced)
-> I also have experience with English not being a first language
I’m happy to teach in person and online.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
As someone that has worked within youth services and mentoring programs, the best things I can offer is - time, patience and an open mind. I know everyone is different and needs things catered towards them - and that’s perfectly okay!
I’m just here to guide you along the way.
