What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
Hearring a question from a student that was similar to something that i Wondered back when i was in their place and now being able to answer that question and advice the student on it makes me appreciate how far i have come academically and see the satisfaction on the student's face.My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
curiosity- I am always looking to learn more which means i would be able to teach more patience- i understand learning is about understanding and understanding requires effort as well as time, sometimes all we can do for students is to aid in making decisions and tackling the problems in front of them. Diversity in learning - i appreciate the variety of ways that students learn and apply. it is my personal goal to adhere to as many learning styles as possible and be an effective facilitator.Most important things I can do for a student π
As a tutor the most important thing is encouragement. we understand how different one student is from each other, while it may often feel like 1 student out of many, for that student it is everything. So being encouraging, patient and understanding of them is very important for a student during times of struggle. assure them that mistakes are part of learning and encourage them to bounce back. do not give up on them for you do not want them to give up on themselves.
