What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Ever since I can remember, I have wanted to be a teacher/mentor. I admired my teachers throughout my schooling years; the good and the bad. There is always something you can learn from them, whether that be the content they taught in the classroom or the manner in which they handled themselves in tough or awkward situations. One can teach anywhere at just a matter of creativity. Tutoring is a fantastic way to bring this dream to life, as education, knowledge are like birds, if its keep spreading more and more, everyone can turn into bird or more far than they thought.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Generally speaking, I believe I am a strong in being mentor. I am still learning, however, I believe that I will only continue to become better with experience. As an educator it is very important that I make sure that each and everyone of my students is able to learn. I believe one of my biggest strengths is being able to do so. I adhere to all learning styles while teaching. I present my students with a wide variety of methods to solving problems while teaching. I think it is important to be open minded and teach my students that there is always more than one way to do things and learn.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I do think patience, good Communication Skills and the Ability to Make Students Visualise. Also the self-discipline. For one, the number of students working with tutors continues to grow. Two, working 1:1 with students is immensely gratifying, both for the tutor and tutee. And three, a few specific yet generalised characteristics become crystallised about all successful tutors.
