What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
While there are many reasons as to why I enjoy tutoring, one of the main reasons is the connection I am able to build with my students. I get the opportunity to teach students about topics I feel passionate about while also listening to them about their feelings, their goals and aspirations and I find it rewarding to be a person they come to for advice. Overall, I find the relationship I get to build with my students to be the most rewarding.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe that as I am closer in age to my students, they find it easy to speak to me and to be comfortable around me. I also understand that every student is different and it is essential to differentiate in the way I teach all my students to find ways that suit all the different ways students absorb knowledge. I also think it is important that a tutor makes their lessons engaging as students often find it difficult to be engaged at school and it is important to not create the same environment when being tutored and I am adaptable and am capable of making such changes to better suit them.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
One of the most important things that a tutor can do for a student is to provide feedback. I am a firm believer in learning from your mistakes and often I find that students are provided with extensive amounts of work, however their feedback is often passed onto them rather than discussed with them. I think it is just as important to explain to them the mistakes they may have made and to talk about what they can do better next time to improve. In addition to this, I think it is also important to teach students about exam tips and study methods along with organising tips.Subjects Tutored 🎓
