What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Based on my tutoring experience, not only the teaching part, but I also enjoyed getting to know and meet students from diverse backgrounds and cultures. It was really interesting and valuable observing how different each and every student were in terms of their learning styles. Moreover, I extremely value the feeling of satisfaction and proudness when I see an improvement of a student and when the student achieved the target grade. I think these feelings and experiences are things that cannot be easily gained by other alternatives.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I also see myself as a good communicator with great interpersonal skills regardless of age, cultural background, or ethnicity as I studied in an international school since grade 1 with a multicultural background growing up in Malaysia. By working as a part-time teacher in academies and being a president in a university club enhanced my interpersonal and communication skills with various people as well as solving problems and managing my schedule.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think patience and the ability to catch the exact needs of the students are the most important things a tutor can do for a student. Since every student has different learning styles and speed when understanding a concept, patience is a key requirement in order to go along with the student's speed. Furthermore, the ability to fulfil the exact needs of the student and provide the right materials and strategies are the short-cuts when tutoring a student who is seeking for an improvement.
