What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
Helping younger students. Itβs amazing to help guide students, and see their growth and hopefully new appreciation of the subject. Additionally, teaching is a great way to strengthen my knowledge of the subject as well.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I think my leadership experience at school (cru) will be helpful in knowing how to connect with younger students and feeling more comfertable in this environment. Being in year 12, the knowledge is still very fresh in my mind so it should help me, especially with more difficult year 11 content.
Most important things I can do for a student π
Most importantly, providing the student with a greater understanding and appreciation of the subject. Enjoying the subject encourages them to strive further as well.
Specifically, ensuring they understand each part of the syllabus (particularly for older students) or understanding all of the content.
Itβs crucial to create a comfertable and positive environment to help the student grow as much as possible.
