What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I like helping people find enjoyment in their subjects by understanding how to do them. I like helping with maths the most as I know that it is really easy to dislike if you are confused and don't understand the concept but once you wrap your head around it, it can be a lot of fun.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I'm friendly and approachable, easy to ask questions to. I can explain how to answer a question in many different ways, as different students learn and understand differently. I am reliable so students will be able to get to know me and how to work with me well, without having to swap between tutors every few weeks.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing is for a tutor to make the subject enjoyable and engaging, students are much more likely to put in effort and keep trying if they want to be there. It is also important for a tutor to be able to let a student take their time to understand a concept before moving on, which often doesn't happen at school.
