What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy using my skill set and imparting my knowledge to those learning the subject. I find it incredibly fulfilling seeing my students understand a concept and be able to apply them to a range of questions. Meeting all kinds of students and understanding what they need and where they are at also makes me think about how to become more empathetic and flexible to my students needs.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor lies in my ability and empathise and be patient toward to students. Students come in all variety of personality, learning preferences, different mindsets and it is up to me to be able to alter my teaching style and content to them. I also pride myself on being able to concisely explain a concept in a digestible way.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing I can do is remember that I am not just a tutor but a facilitator for learning. Sure, I could go through my amazing lesson word for word, but I don’t think it means much if my lesson does not connect with the student. I believe I have to create an environment where they believe they can learn even the most difficult thing and encourage them to keep trying and keep learning. It is up to me as a tutor to be flexible to my students needs and to explain as well as find ways to implement concepts in a manner that will be beneficial to each individual student.
