What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy using a particular strength I have to help others, rather than just myself. I believe everyone has the understanding within them, they might just need someone to guide them in unlocking that potential.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor are patience and empathy. I believe that intelligence can only take you so far if you are not willing to sit with someone, rewording and redesigning your explanations until they can truly understand. I aim to connect with individual learning styles, in order to make the material accessible.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Tutors should always make students feel safe and comfortable. It's important to create an environment where they are not afraid to ask questions, as curiosity is a pathway for knowledge and will assist them in their learning experience. It is also important to create an environment where students don't feel shame for not understanding content. A tutor should be encouraging and supportive through understanding, allowing students to build their confidence and engage in the lessons.
