What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I like to engage with other people and share my knowledge while inspiring others to gain fondness for these subjects the way I did.
I enjoy seeing improvements in the results of the people I tutor, and feel a sense of joy knowing that I contributed to it in some way.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I’m patient and understanding.
I have the ability to pass on easy ways of memorising information and solving problems as I did my studies recently and had to figure them out myself. I feel that I could advise my students on successful methods to solve these problems, while broadening their study methods as I understand that there are multiple ways to tackle them.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Be someone they can be comfortable with and understanding. I think if students are encouraged to ask questions and the tutor is patient with them, they won’t feel scared and they’ll be more transparent with how well they understand the topic. I also realised that when a tutor respects the students, the student will honour the tutors more as well. I find that it’s necessary to be understanding of the fact that students are diverse and learn at different paces. I consider it important to be encouraging and cater to each student’s individual needs.
