What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I recognise that teaching a student an entirely new concept is a difficult task, however, I think its just as rewarding. I really enjoy watching my efforts in action - when a student finally grasps a concept that they were struggling with. I enjoy being part of their journey as they grow, gradually feeling more confident in themselves because they are always smarter than they think.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am patient and willing to explain a new concept multiple times, but not in a repetitive way. I will utilise different teaching methods if one way doesn't work (eg. videos instead of simply notes) to make the explanation more engaging. I have strong organisational skills and will able to manage my time inbetween tutoring and university, ensuring I'm there for my students in the long run.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Commitment is crucial, tutors must reliably and consistently be there for their students to support them for a long period because tutor swaps can be disruptive to the student's education and negatively effect their performance.
