What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy creating a supportive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and explore new ideas. The most rewarding part is witnessing that "lightbulb" moment when a concept finally clicks for them and knowing I played a role in helping them overcome challenges and reach their goals.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
One of my key strengths as a tutor is that, being recently out of VCE, the content is still fresh in my mind. This allows me to relate closely to the current curriculum and share relevant, up-to-date strategies. Additionally, my younger age helps me connect with students on a peer level, making lessons more engaging and approachable while fostering a comfortable learning environment.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I believe the most important things a tutor can do are to create a comfortable, non-judgmental environment where students feel safe to ask questions without fear of feeling βstupidΓ’β¬ and to support them at their individual level. By meeting students where they are and encouraging progress at their own pace, tutors can build confidence, foster a love of learning, and help students reach their full potential.
