Having a student engage with me through learning the taught content as they discover their new interest and being there in the moment you see them light up with that spark of understanding it is a thing that puts me in the best mood for the rest of the week.

I can explain course content in a manner students would find engaging and produce real world examples where it is used and is of use to know. Further I have methods to spark interest in even the most driest of course content, this includes content that some students would find unappealing (such as algebra or statistics).

In my experience there are parts of courses that a student can not or would not understand on their own, however through my assistance to understand road blocks in course content and as a result help resolve and navigate them to me is the most important aspect of the job.
