What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Being able to give others the confidence they need to be able to be comfortable with subjects and topics they struggle with makes me feel content, as I was once in their position. It is also rewarding to see students finally understand a concept, being able to help others is something I have always been good at!

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

I can get along with a lot of people and am very approachable. I find it easy to make them comfortable with me; I think this is important as having a friendly tutor can make or break your experience. I am also very good at shaping my teaching methods to each individual, as every person learns in a different manner and finding the best way to approach them is crucial.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

To be able to display a sense of confidence in the area/subject you are teaching, as students tend to mirror your confidence when learning as well, having a positive impact on their performance and overall wellbeing. Being friendly is also important as students can often be shy in asking questions and talking to tutors. Showing them that there is nothing wrong with not understanding or asking a question and will benefit both me as a tutor and them as a student.
