What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love teaching and helping children, ensuring I really can make a difference in something that for them, is difficult and causes them stress.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

I am well organised, so am always able to explain with much clarity and I think that is one of my biggest strengths. Furthermore, I am used to explaining stuff in a fun manner (dance instructor/ski instructor) so I always try to find creative ways to clarify things. I have taught many different children so know that everyone needs something else/a different learning method works and I think this is important to know as a tutor.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

I think the most important thing is to simply be there for a student, ensure their learning environment feels safe. From there on, explanations & clarifications make their entrance. Communication with the student is key to ensure expectations are clear and the learning methods can be discussed.
