What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy showing kids that learning can be fun and helping them understand the concept behind what they are learning, and making sure the student i'm tutoring really understood and isn't afraid to let me know they are confused. I'm willing to change my teaching approach to be more visual or metaphorical according to the students unique learning style.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I'm very patient with people who may be struggling to grasp a concept or to develop proper study patterns. I have a very fresh view of the concepts in the current high school maths and biology syllabus as I undertook my HSC just last year. I received a high Band 5 in both HSC Biology and Advanced Math.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Build a trusting relationship with them that makes them feel comfortable asking questions, as the large classroom environment sometimes intimidates kids and makes them feel like a question they want to ask is 'dumb' because everyone else seems fine with the concept (even though they usually aren't).
