What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy the satisfaction that both the student and I gain from the experience. Seeing their eyes light up in understanding when the concept they had previously been struggling with finally clicks is extremely rewarding, and when they can successfully apply it too, I feel like I have done my job well.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Patience and clear communication. I believe these are the core tenets of tutoring, and I have worked hard to master them. Each student has a slightly different learning and communication style, so being able to adapt and cater to their needs is of utmost importance as a tutor. It also may take a while for a tutor to adapt to their learning style, or for a student to grasp a concept, so patience with myself and with my student is another strength of mine, which I truly believes helps me with my tutoring abilities.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Ensuring comfort and confidence within students is one of the most important things about being a tutor. We are not only there to teach the student, but to enhance their confidence within themselves and the subject, making sure they feel comfortable both in the classroom and during tutoring sessions.
