What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy the confidence that students gain in themselves and their knowledge of the material. At the beginning of tutoring, many of my students have said that they feel completely unprepared for tests and exams. However after spending time with me, revising content and generally improving study skills, all of them have said that they have an increased level of confidence. One of my students went on to do Medicine after thinking that he had no chance of getting into the course!My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I like to maintain a friendly and casual demeanour, allowing my students to feel comfortable around me. This is really important in order for students to be able to ask questions they consider "dumb" and discuss things that are worrying them. I also have experience tutoring in a variety of situations, for example private one on one tutoring or teaching a small group.
