What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
My high school experiences have inspired me to become a teacher as I have discovered that I find great joy in helping others with their needs and love the feeling of reward through helping someone. I love to support others and help them gain confidence in their education.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
One of my strength as a tutor is willing to hear and understand my students personally so that I know their strengths and weaknesses. Yes, pushing students to their hardest is crucial but there are always limits to their ability and I believe I can be flexible to take their circumstances on board and do the best I can for them to achieve their goals.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
My high school experiences were filled with joy and opportunities but of course there were ups and downs that came with these feelings yet, when having to face these difficulties, I have struggled with my school life. There were many teachers who have not tried to understand my circumstances and criticised me through their lack of understanding of my situation. Hence, the most fundamental aspects of a teacher is not only having the ability to teach but able to cope and understand their students on personal level to help them both emotionally and academically.

She did make few mistakes with her 3D shapes, but when pointed out she was able to fix her problems quickly. She should read the questions carefully and think carefully the next step that she is required to do. Her time for weekly time table has decreased, hence more practice needed regularly.

Sienna struggled to concentrate in the lesson today but we still managed to get some work done. She found it hard to solve subtraction questions with the decimal point but when she got the hang of it, she didn't hesitate to solve the rest of the questions.
Was able to solve simple percentage and fraction questions easily. Question with just numbers, she knows exactly what she has to do.

When solving questions with a long sentence, she doesn't know what the question is asking her to do. So she needs to break down the question and solve step by step. Lily also makes a few silly errors, which could ultimately cost her a few marks on the exam, hence going over her answers are essential for her to eliminate any silly mistakes.
