What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy communicating and helping students in an area that I am strong in and was fortunate to acquire lot of knowledge in. I have always been passionate about numbers and data since childhood. This is evident in my completion of Bachelors of Science (Honours) in Applied Mathematics followed by Master of Data Analytics both at RMIT University. I am also a Certified Data Scientist from the Certificate of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Course run by Institute of Data.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am very organised, committed and punctual with my teaching. I always make my classes interesting and attract the attention of students. Explaining concepts in a manner that enables students to understand it quicker is my strong point. Zaki has also been advised the importance of keeping track of the time and when doing the exam to address time management. If exam is over before allocated time, Zaki has been informed to check his working. For any final questions after today's class, I have told Zaki to contact me should he have any last round of questions. He is more than welcome to discuss with me how he went in his exam. Went through past paper and trial exam questions. We spent time on financial maths and network questions. Zaki now gets the hang of it.

Today's class went well being the introductory class. We spent them introducing ourselves. Colin discussed the topics he is covering in Maths and what areas he would like to work on. This was done through an ice breaking activity. Following this, we went through examples of calculating percentages of whole numbers. Colin gained a strong understanding of questions based on this concept.
Colin has been given a worksheet due next Thursday's class on calculating percentages. I have informed Colin to contact me anytime outof class if he has any questions or concerns.

Today's class went well. Zaki had a practice SAC on Network and Decision Maths with some Matrices questions in it. We went through the questions and Zaki now feels more confident in how to approach the questions especially on Hungarian algorithm.
For future classes, time will be utilised for Zaki to go through past papers and ask any questions he may have. He will also be given an opportunity to work through the exam papers under exam conditions. I have informed Zaki to slowly starting work on recent exam papers and see how time management is going.
