What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy seeing students realise the joy of hard work and developing them not only academically but also as people. I also learn more about myself. I treat tutoring as a service to people and through that I grow as both a person and a tutor, I realise what my strengths and weaknesses are in this way.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor are knowledge and personality. As a student, I found it difficult to work with a tutor who demanded so much from me and failing to meet expectations set me on the wrong path. Whilst I understand discipline and academic demands are essential, I believe a tutor who is confident in their ability to deliver an environment that supports development and growth is just as important.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
My journey throughout school and university has uniquely blessed me to experience what academic struggle looks like. As a tutor, I understand that not all students are the same. Not each student is gifted academically nor the same desire as the person next to them.
1. Adapting to their needs and academic level
2. Being understanding and considerate
3. Clear honest communication about expectations and progression.
