What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy tutoring as it is a job where you see the effects of your preparation and assistance towards the student's grades. Furthermore, the more effort that is put towards the student, the more satisfaction and rewarding the job becomes. But also, tutoring can challenging at times, as sometimes you need to adopt a different way of teaching for some students as the conventional method of effective for everyone. This aspect of tutoring ensures that the job never becomes mundane as there is always a challenge.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My strengths are that I am an incredibly patient tutor, as well as a good listener. By being a good listener, I am able to take on board what each student wants out of the tutoring session and each students preferred learning method.
Most important things I can do for a student π
As previously mentioned, I think the most important thing a tutor can do for their student is to listen. If you do not listen to the students expectations and responsiveness to the material then the sessions will not be productive, and the student will not improve.
