What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy being able to help others who are struggling and watching them grow through learning. I know it is very difficult for some people to understand certain concepts (especially maths) and to be able to enhance and develop their skills creates a great sense of accomplishment and purpose.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths are good communication and people skills- I can adapt to different students and what their issue is so I can help them achieve their own individual goals. I have good comprehending skills and can easily pick up on things. I also have a lot of patience which is vital for tutoring.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to instil the key executive study skills that are used in the sessions that serve the student well and ensure they apply them all the time. These skills I hope to cement include organisation, focus and time management. I also believe it is important to form a connection with the student and create a bond with each student so that tutoring doesn’t feel like a chore.
