What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love children and young people, I interact very well with them as I grew up with younger siblings. I love forming genuine connections with kids/teenagers by helping them with problems and overcoming obstacles. I enjoyed that I can also learn more as I teach students, as they challenge what I understand. Talking with children energizes and encourages me to always improve myself and my knowledge as I will be utilizing those to provide younger people help.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I overall am a bubbly, social and patient person who connects well with younger people due to my energy and sense of humor. I relate well to children and have a lot of empathy, I am a thoughtful person and always think in other people's shoes. I think these are very useful traits to help me tutor better, as sometimes children can have many challenges, such as giving attitudes, and I have had many experiences dealing with difficulties during tutoring situations, as well as my strong communication skills as a Law student, which help me easily adaptable to different students' behaviors.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important thing is to inspire students to learn more and improve in their own respective ways, as it is crucial that we teach them methods of how to learn instead of just force-feeding knowledge. Tutors should teach strategies that are easily implementable for a variety of situations so that students can confidently adapt their knowledge. We can only explain so much during the 1 hour tutoring time, so we should inspire students to formulate their own perspectives.
