Through experience in teaching gymnastics and private tutoring, I have developed a passion for helping students learn to believe in themselves more, and have seen this transform their mental attitude toward challenging tasks. I find mindset is huge when learning new knowledge, and helping students see the value in pushing through challenges has been extremely fulfilling to me.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe that there is a lot of value in teaching students the art of metacognitive learning strategies such as using the syllabus as a roadmap for guiding and piecing together information, or even through a classic route of thinking aloud, such as to me as a tutor, to help make more sense of the material. Additionally, I truly value mindset and believe this to be paramount in becoming not only a successful student, but one that enjoys the work, with its challenges and setbacks.
