What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

From experience, I’ve found that the best teachers and tutors are the ones who are able to foster a supportive, inspiring environment and motivate students to achieve their full potential. I love to help others reach their goals and develop confidence in their abilities and studies, and see them improve from where they started is such a fulfilling feeling for both tutors and students.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My time as a VCE student allowed me to develop not only strong study habits, but gave me the means to balance study with extracurricular activities and leadership roles. This required strong dedication and flexible but reliable time management skills that are necessary for a tutor in planning, scheduling and dedicating time to go above and beyond for my students. Furthermore, I would be delighted to impart this balanced approach to schooling with my students, in order to foster a healthy mindset, being able to pursue interests and other opportunities whilst still improving academically.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do is listen and adapt to the student’s needs, catering to each student’s learning method and teaching them in the most effective way. This is achieved through consistent communication with the student, checking in to see if they understand the content and are learning most effectively with the current teaching method, and if not, figuring out a way to best adapt the teaching style to match the student.
