What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Being able to make a difference is the most important thing for me. In my opinion, teachers are tutors are the most essential in nurturing the next generation, and I can look back and pinpoint exactly where my own teachers changed my life for the better. Knowing that I'm helping people is a joy like no other! From an analytical view, I also enjoy being able to break down concepts, and the challenge of simplifying complex ideas allows me to continue learning alongside my students.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My patience and communication skills allow me to explain complex ideas in simple, clear, and concise ways, all while giving students the time they need to understand the concepts. In the times that traditional methods of learning were tougher to understand, I very quickly had to teach myself how to attack problems and break down concepts from multiple points of view, making me adaptable to each student's style of learning and individual needs.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

In my opinion, the most important thing a private tutor can do for a student is give them the opportunity to make mistakes in a safe environment where they feel they won't be judged. Building confidence and supporting students to increase their self-esteem won't only help them in their school subjects, but is a valuable skill that will last them a lifetime. Not just this, but a tutor also provides constructive feedback to students, who then understand and learn from their mistakes and are able to enhance pattern recognition within questions.
