What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Having been a classroom tutor for nearly 6 months I have enjoyed building relationships with students and working to help them build their skills and achieve their goals.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As I work at a low SES school I have really had to learn how to adapt to different students and their circumstances. From year 7 science all the way to VCAL numeracy or VCE Methods I have worked with a wide variety of students really putting into practice my own pedagogy and differentiation strategies in the classroom.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A tutor should understand their students needs and adapt to their students ability. Tutors will meet a variety of students but just because one way worked for a high achieving student does not mean it will help the child who is set back an entire year level. Patience is also very important, a tutor should be able to go through topics without students at a pace where the student is comfortable and learning, if it takes them slightly longer the tutor can find new ways to finally create some understanding.Subjects Tutored 🎓
