What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy tutoring because I get to form a connection with my student and personalize their classes depending on the studentβs strengths and weaknesses. I like learning about what kind of approach works best when trying to teach a student and by doing this I can help them achieve their goals. Itβs nice to see them happy when they improve and perform better because I feel like I made an important contribution to their lives.My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I think my biggest strengths as a tutor is that Iβve attended a lot of tutoring classes throughout my schooling so I have an understanding of how to teach a small group/one-on-one and manage any difficulties/disruptions that occur through being patient and kind. Another strength I have is that I can build trust with my students so that they are open to me about their struggles and I can effectively help them overcome such challenges.Most important things I can do for a student π
Being patient with the student is very important because it may take time for them to grasp new topics and understand the method to solve a problem. As a tutor you have to walk the student through this process and be supportive and calm instead of getting upset or blunt with the student because this may affect their self confidence and focus.Tutoring students in π¦ π§
