What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

My favourite part about tutoring is helping students find enjoyment in their respective subjects as they steadily start to improve and understand the topic. The satisfaction of watching their efforts pay off is priceless.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe my strengths lies in my experience. Although informal, I have been tutoring many of my friends through the last 6 years of high school. As a result, I’ve greatly improved my skills of communication, empathy, patience, listening and my ability to break down complex topics into understandable and digestible parts. Furthermore, I completed further maths 3/4 in year 11, achieving a sac average of 93% and a raw study score of 41. I also ranked second in my school. In year 12 I completed methods 3/4 and Business management 3/4, averaging 86% and 95% on sacs respectively.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do for their students is being adaptable. A tutor should be able to change and evolve their teaching style to best meet the needs and learning style of students in a patient and understanding manner. All students are different and therefore all have differences in how they learn, so it is my belief that a great tutor can adhere to these differences to provide the best learning experience for their students.
