What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Tutoring has always been a very rewarding experience for me. I enjoy using my knowledge to answer other people’s questions and I love seeing their relieved faces after finally being able to understand a concept/solve a problem.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am a very patient person and I am very willing to dedicate time and energy to prepare for the lessons. I performed academically well at school and was awarded several biology competition awards (e.g. Global Gold Award for the 2022 British Biology Competition). I achieved A* for GCE A-levels biology, chemistry, and mathematics and an A for further mathematics. I have had many experiences of being tutored and in recent years gained some experience in tutoring by joining an after-school homework club aimed at helping students who had trouble studying biology. I am currently studying Bachelor of Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

1. A tutor should understand the different needs of different students and find a way of teaching that best suits them. So preparing suitable material for different students are very important. 2. Never teach to the test. It not only diminishes the student’s interest in the subject but also prevents them from developing further understanding of a topic.
