What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Throughout my experience tutoring, I find it extremely satisfying creating “WOW†moments for my peers. By "WOW" moment. I am referring to moments of positive emotional responses from students. I love witnessing that lightbulb moment when students finally understand a hard area of the syllabus or how to answer a difficult question. It is satisfying moments like these that have driven me to want to work at Ezy Math Tutoring, and be able to continue making this positive impact on individuals.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am very friendly and conversational, which are traits that I think are important to build positive relationships between myself and my students. I am non-judgemental, which is essential when students are unsure about certain aspects of content or the syllabus but may be afraid or embarrassed to reveal this. I am a good listener and am open-minded to new ideas. As stated previously, in my role at HSC CoWorks, I have received over 580 positive ratings from students, despite only working 280 sessions, indicating my strong interpersonal proficiencies.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I value creating "WOW" moments for students. As stated previously, I find it extremely satisfying to witness that 'lightbulb' moment when students finally understand a hard area of the syllabus or how to answer a difficult question. I also think it is important that tutors stretch and challenge their students. This can be achieved by getting students to do challenging questions or assigning them homework daily. Everything will not be easy in the HSC - there will always be a tricky topic or subject. Thus, they must struggle to learn from their mistakes and become successful.
