What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy the personal aspects to it and the opportunity that brings to being able to bond with a student individually. I like to be able to focus on one student at a time because it helps me get to know who they are and how they might process learning materials

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am a big kid at heart(!) and I have a playful nature, so it's often not hard for me to find common ground with kids. I also have a tertiary background in performing arts which really helps with how I deliver material and keep an audience engaged.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Support young people in their individual approach to encourage self-understanding, self-awareness and self-belief. Quite recently, I was diagnosed with a disorder which affects how I process information. I didn't know this going through adolescence, but I remember the struggle and feeling limited in what was/wasn't achievable. It's important to me that kids need not feel inferior if they struggle in any particular area. We're all unique and deserve to both understand and be understood.
